This shampoo was made to be applied directly to the scalp (that’s where oil, sweat, and buildup cause the most problems).

• Start with soaking-wet hair.
  Give your hair a full rinse so the scalp is saturated. Water helps loosen oil and buildup so the shampoo can do its job.

• Twist up the pointed spout + apply in 5 spots.
  Because the bottle is squeezable with a twist-up spout, you can go straight to the source. Part as needed and squeeze the gel-like shampoo onto the scalp in five areas:

  • Front (near the edges/hairline)

  • Left side

  • Middle / crown

  • Right side

  • Back / nape

• Massage into the scalp first.
  Use your fingertips (not nails) and massage for 60–90 seconds. Focus on lifting oil and buildup at the roots.
  If one area still feels coated, add a little more only to that spot—don’t overdo it, this shampoo lathers fast.

• Work the lather down the strands.
  Once you’ve built a rich lather at the roots, push the foam down through the hair to the ends. Lightly squeeze and smooth the lather through to help lift any dirt or product residue on the strands—no aggressive scrubbing.

• Rinse thoroughly.
  Rinse until the water runs clear and your scalp feels clean (no slippery residue at the roots).

• Repeat only if needed.
  One wash is usually enough. Do a second cleanse if you had heavy product buildup, lots of sweat, or your hair still feels dirty after rinsing.

• If your hair tangles easily, work in sections so you can reach the scalp without roughing up the ends.

• Follow with a leave-in conditioner after each wash. Use a deep conditioner every 2–4 washes (or anytime your hair feels extra thirsty).
