In its raw form, batana can feel very heavy, so we use a fractionated version for a lighter, more wearable finish that still delivers nourishment and shine.

 

Cucumber Oil
Cucumber seed oil has a lightweight, silky feel and is naturally high in omega-6 linoleic acid and phytosterols, which support moisture retention and a soft, comfortable feel. We added it for the soothing, refreshing feel it gives when applied to dry scalp and dry-feeling hair.

A balanced, healthy scalp is the foundation for strong, resilient hair, which is why we included our chicory-root-based prebiotic complex. Marshmallow Root
Marshmallow root is famous for its natural mucilage, which gives that ultra-slippery glide textured hair loves for detangling and smoothness. It also supports hydration by helping hair hold onto moisture, which can reduce frizz and improve manageability.

Benzyl Alcohol (and) Salicylic Acid (and) Glycerin (and) Sorbic Acid. — An ECOCERT and Cosmos compliant broad spectrum preservative. 

Distilled Water — Our herbal extracts and hydrosols are concentrated, and we dilute them just enough to make this cream comfortable and safe for regular use on the scalp.

Sodium Phytate - a natural plant-derived salt of phytic acid, used as a chelating agent that binds to metal ions to improve product stability, prevent discoloration and boost preservative efficacy.

Propanediol - natural non-sticky emollient, used in this cream to boost preservative efficacy and improve skin/hair hydration

Guar Gum - a natural fiber used to thicken and stabilize this cream.

Glycerin - a powerful, plant-derived humectant used to hydrate, seal in moisture and soften hair. We've added it to this cream for it's ability to smooth the hair cuticle, which helps tame and define curls.

Moisturizing Leave-in Hair Treatment
Separate wet hair into sections. Apply a small amount of cream to each section from root to tip while detangling hair with fingers (or a wide-tooth comb). Repeat 1-2 times per week or after your wash day routine. This  helps hair dry down conditioned, flexible, and soft, with less tugging during detangling and less dryness showing up midweek.

 

2-Strand Twist-Outs
On clean, damp hair, part into sections. Apply a small amount from root to tip, then split the section into two. Twist the two strands around each other to create a rope-like spiral. When you reach the ends, apply a tiny bit more cream and coil the ends around your finger for a neat finish. Let hair dry completely, then gently unravel each twist and fluff at the roots.

You’ll get shiny, juicy definition that lasts—curls look smooth and well-formed, but still feel soft, not stiff or sticky.
Tip: Use a little oil on your fingertips when unraveling to reduce frizz while separating.

 

SOOTHING SCALP LOTION
Part hair and apply a small amount directly to the scalp, then massage gently with fingertips. Use as needed between wash days, especially on dry areas along the hairline, crown, and nape.

PREVENT SPLIT ENDS
The only way to fix split ends is to cut them. But you can help prevent them by keeping ends moisturized, reducing friction, and protecting them from drying out.

Apply a small amount to the last 2–3 inches of hair (ends first). For extra protection, smooth a tiny bit more over the ends before bed, then cover with a satin bonnet/scarf. Your ends stay softer, more protected, and less likely to turn brittle and split over time.
