This conditioning shampoo sooths itchy scalp, stops dandruff and flaking, removes excess oil, and effectively removes dirt and product build-up from hair. It has a creamy, white texture, produces a light lather, and has a strong tea tree oil scent.
About Our Ingredients
The main ingredient in this shampoo, Aloe Vera, contains proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner that leaves hair feeling smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, and reduces dandruff. Aloe Vera's chemical make-up is like that of keratin; like keratin it improves hair elasticity and prevents breakage.
The Apricot Oil in this shampoo contains oleic and linoleic acids, which helps to soften your hair and stimulate hair growth. Apricot oil seals moisture into the hair shaft, helps protect the hair from harsh elements and damage, and smooths the cuticles (which encourages hair sheen). It also helps heal scalp conditions such as dandruff, psoriasis, and eczema.
Tea Tree Oil's natural anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties helps in soothing an itchy scalp, reducing dandruff and flaking, and preventing excess oil production. Tea tree oil improves blood flow and allows nutrients to reach hair follicles, balances the pH level of the scalp, and stimulates the hair growth cycle.
This shampoo does contain sulfates. Sulfates are great cleansers that are commonly found in hair and skin cleansing products because they can efficiently lift dirt and oil so that it can be easily washed away when rinsed with water. Therefore, this shampoo works best for those who have problems with product build-up. If its a MUST that you wash your hair every day than a shampoo containing sulfates like this one may be right for you.
This shampoo has a pH balance between 5.5 - 6.5.
